Man, he's what? 79?
And here I am, only 22-going-on-to-23; and not participated in any marathons yet (unless you take into consideration... erm... the President's Challenge and TNP Big Walk). I'm still considering whether to sign up for the Standard Chartered's this year. The only fretful part is my physical fitness. One thing for sure now, even a 2.4km would probably suck off half of my life energy; what more a 42.195km (no, if I were to sign up for one, I don't want to go for a half-marathon or a 10km marathon). But then again, the run will only take place on 6th of December; which is like, about 4 months away. But then yet again, the last time I ran was before the toes got injured.
I know nuts about training and exercising; but to train a literal couch potato to the level of running 42+km within 4 months sounds kind of
Oh well, the first phase of early-bird promotion will only end on 26th July (at SGD$45.00). The second phase of early-bird promotion will end on 5th August (at SGD$65.00). If I have yet to sign up by the end of the early-bird promotion, chances are most probably I won't be after all. If so, perhaps I'll wait for 2010. Let me sit on it.
Anyway, in the meanwhile, any takers, anyone?
