It has been more than a week since Old Chang Kee has launched a recent, new item to their repository. Gu Cai Buns! I love them, TOTALLY! I love the nice and not-too-overpowering fragrance of the herb!
Tried to google out the word "Gu Cai", because I have no idea how it is written in Chinese or what it is called in English; but to no avail. The word "Gu Cai" seems to be very elusive! Anyway, it tastes like leeks or scallions; but I can't be sure, though.
Anyone has any idea?
P.S. If you've yet to give this newly-launched item at Old Chang Kee a try, make haste to get one now. Now. NOW! It blew my feet off, and it might jolly well do the same to yours too! But if you - in the unfortunate event - find yourself not accustomed to the herb-y taste, I can help finish it off for you. My pleasure.
