AGE-D

Granny got moved to Ren Ci today to recuperate. For therapeutic purposes, I guess. The duration of the stay is not for certain, though.

I think it is a little sad, spending CNY in a hospital. Yeah, sure, on CNY we would take Granny home to celebrate on the day itself. But still...

Today, I was working in the office. A colleague had just came back to work after applying for UPA, for his father had recently passed away after being diagnosed with terminal-staged cancer one month ago. Another fellow colleague dropped by our office to offer his condolences. It turned out that the deceased is only 60-year-old. The fellow colleague made all the appropriate sounds and expressions sympathetically, and after which, mentioned that his own father also passed away at 60 odds.

It suddenly made me realize, all the elders whom I love are indeed getting older and older. Parents. Grandma. And it makes me feel funny deep down inside.

My mum has been bed-ridden for 2 years and she hardly responds to us. She's 60+ and a little to young for stroke patient. Just cherish every moments with your elderly loved ones as possible.
