MY FIRST WEEK IN CAMPUS

Surprisingly - for a typical, directionally-challenged girl who is capable of losing her way even in the heartlands - I did not encounter much difficulty adapting to the new, humongous campus environment; except for the 1st day of school on Monday, when I had trouble locating LT32 for my very 1st lecture.

So confident and pleased was I in my so-called "unexpected ingeniousness" that I started to take it for granted. After finishing my Reason and Persuasion lecture at the Faculty of Arts & Social Science on Friday, I decided to try a new route back to the Faculty of Science for my next lecture.

From the Faculty of Arts & Social Science, I took the Internal Shuttle Bus C back to Yusof Ishak House, where I alighted. After waiting (super-duper long) for either Bus 95 or Internal Shuttle Bus A2 to ferry me back to Faculty of Science, my sparkling and lovely eyes spotted Bus 151 coming my way. Recalling that I had seen Bus 151 somewhere (but regrettably, don't know where) - and plus the fact that my next lecture starts in a mere 10mins time - I boarded it without much delibration.

Wonder of wonders, Voila!
Before I knew it, the freaking bus EXITED right out of NUS.
(!!! !!! !!!)

What! on! earth! was! I! thinking!!!

Thus, I was late for my lecture by a grand 20mins; that is, after I made a successful detour into campus and, finally, expertly navigated my way back to the Faculty of Science.

It's times like this when I wish dearly for the ability to teleport.
