PRINT JOBS
I was printing a draft of last week's laboratory report, for my own study for the laboratory Oral Test and laboratory Quiz tomorrow. After plugging in the thumbdrive and retrieving the Word Document, I sent the print job to the printer.
No sound came from the printer.
Puzzled, I went to the Control Panel, and opened the Printer's Folder. There it was, my print job - 1st in the queue. I right-clicked on the print job, and ascertained that it is not paused. Indeed, it's not.
Hmmm... This is so strange.
Hey, wait! It's written on the top that the "printer is offline"!
I stretched out and bended down. Yep, I've plugged the correct plug into the correct power socket. And nope, I didn't switch on the wrong power source.
Weird.
Canceling the existing print job, I sent in a new request. Again, the printer's not printing. I inspected the printer. Yes lah, it's switched on, what! Got green light on the printer, leh! Totally puzzled now, I switched off and on the printer's power switch. Again, I sent in a repeat print job request. Still, the printer was not giving a beep.
I was totally stumped. Just when I was about to give up and call for SOS (read: the older brother), it was then the genius in me realized: the USB cable was not plugged in.
Sigh! So clever!
Luckily I didn't ask for help. I have a feeling that he'll give me an exagerrated and exasperated "wah lau eh!!!".
Anyway, tomorrow is our LAST laboratory experiment! After tomorrow's lab Oral Test, lab quiz, and lab experiment, all that I'm left with is a FINAL LABORATORY REPORT!
THEN I'M - FINALLY - DONE WITH LABORATORY SESSIONS!!! AND I CAN FINALLY KISS THE LAB COAT AND SAFETY GOGGLES A LONG-AWAITED GOODBYE, AU REVOIR, AND SAYONARA!!!
